Cream with encapsulated and stabilized progressive-release retinol (0.3%) that stimulates the natural production of collagen and hyaluronic acid.
Improves cell renewal, minor imperfections, fine wrinkles, evens skin tone and acts on skin blemishes.
It is one of the active ingredients most commonly used by dermatologists for skin treatment, due to its numerous properties. Retikos cream contains 2 luxurious oils: rosehip oil and olive squalane that, in addition to improving the main signs of aging, treat scars and help improve the healing process of tattoos.
Instructions for use: How do you introduce retinol into your routine?
Like other night creams with retinol, it is recommended to apply Retikos to clean skin in the evening, before going to bed. The ideal is to start with application twice a week and increase depending on the skin's tolerance. It is not recommended to apply to the eyelids and should be avoided both on the corners of the lips and on the sides of the nose.
Can you use our retinol cream during the day?
Solar radiation degrades the asset faster. In addition, light can affect skin that is already sensitive if it has previously been used at night. Therefore, we recommend using it at night.
When can you increase the frequency of our retinol cream?
You can increase the frequency of use as the skin tolerates, after the retinization process, but not before. Retinization is the time the skin needs to get used to Retinol. During this period of approximately 6 weeks it is advisable not to increase the concentration to avoid risks.
When will the effects of night creams with retinol be noticeable?
Retinoids require a period of 3 months before they start to show results. That's why it's important to be consistent and keep using the same product.
Irritation and effectiveness go hand in hand?
No. There are skins that do not get irritated and others that are more sensitive that do. As you get used to it, it may seem like it doesn't have the same effect, but Retinol still stimulates cell turnover.
What if the skin tolerates it perfectly?
We can go from 3 times a week to 6 or 7.
Is it advisable to apply a moisturizer before retinol to reduce irritation? You can, but it will reduce the activity.
And then? We need to wait about 20 minutes for the Retinol to be completely absorbed, although it would be ideal to use it alone
It is recommended to use a sunscreen with a high protection factor in the morning.
Tip: It can also be applied to closed scars and tattoos to improve the healing process.
Precautions: Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
